The Kelly-centric episodes never let the guys down. Here’s a perfect example: Kelly tries out for a modeling gig and invents a new move called the Bundy Bounce. Obviously, the move involves Kelly and bouncing, so it’ll probably work.

Rather than a full episode recap, Reality Bites offers you all you need to know in quick and easy to digest chunks. Enjoy!
“Bonfire of the Vanity” was a decent episode. Lots going on tonight, so rather than babble, let’s get right to it.
-Jenny moved in with Agnus. Rufus was fine with it because Agnes’ mom promised to keep an eye on her.
-Shipiro loved Dan’s “Chuck” story and agreed to write a recommendation so he could get into Yale.
-Jenny and Agnes get in a fight in front of their hopeful fashion manager. The fight lost them the last business manager that would talk to them.
-Blair cannot wait to meet her mom’s new boyfriend, Cyrus. - Needless to say, Blair feels its “inconceivable” that her mom is dating this guy.
-Chuck gets his dad a present for the Bass Industries anniversary. He buys his dad hockey game box seats, but dad shoots him down saying he has no time for hockey.
-Shipiro hooks Dan up with the editor of NY Magazine. They want Dan to do an expose on Bart Bass. If he does the story they will give him more work at NY Magazine. He hestiates to take it, but decides to do it in the end.
-Serena agrees to pose for Aaron after he leads her to Times Square and puts her on camera for everyone to see, but soon finds out that she is not the only muse that Aaron has.

ER has had an incredible run on television. Sure they haven’t always had the best storylines, but the beginning and much of the middle was definitely worth watching. The last few years have been the toughest on ER, but this year looks to turn all of that around. It’s just too bad that it has to be ending in order to do that.
Everyone has heard the rumors that the creators would like to be able to get the entire original cast back at some point in the season. People like Dr. Carter (Noah Wylie) and Dr. Greene (Anthony Edwards) were easy to get on board, but Doctors Benton (Eriq LaSalle), Ross (George Clooney), Lewis (Sherry Stringfield) and Nurse Hathaway (Julianna Margulies) have been holding out. Well, that was until recently, at least in the case of some of them. Others still appear to be holding out.
Anthony Edwards will appear on the show this Thursday, though it has not been confirmed in what capacity (presumably as a ghost) since the character left the show when he died of brain cancer. Noah Wylie will be returning for at least four episodes and now it’s being said that Eriq La Salle will arrive, as well. Clooney’s publicist is hush, hush (isn’t that to be expected?), but Wylie believes that he will be returning as long as his schedule permits the visit.

Some Grey’s Anatomy fans are going to be in for quite a shock this week when Dr. Erica Hahn walks to her car and never comes back. That’s right, apparently the talented Brooke Smith is no longer going to be working her role at Seattle Grace Hospital. If you’re wondering why she won’t be around anymore it’s not because she said anything wrong and it’s not because she wanted out of her contract either. Nope, apparently the reason has more to do with the network ABC and less to do with Smith or the viewers.
Smith had a sit down with EW.com and at that time she revealed that ABC executives weren’t thrilled with her developing lesbian storyline where Hahn and Callie (Sara Ramirez) were becoming involved. According to Smith, ABC made a point to mention they didn’t really care for her character as the new Burke either, so Thursday will be Smith’s last day with no explanation as to why where the show is concerned. I am sure they will make something up, but Smith fans will likely be incredibly disappointed.
“My final scene is just me heading to my car,” said Smith. “I honestly don’t know what happens in the next episode. I heard not much.”

One of the best newer shows on television is in danger of cancellation. Pushing Daisies is part of ABC’s Wednesday night Lineup that includes Private Practice and Dirty Sexy Money. For whatever reason, all three shows have declined in ratings. While I admit to skipping the latter two shows for the likes of Criminal Minds and my new favorite show, Sons of Anarchy I can say that I don’t miss Pushing Daisies if I can help it.
Still, while Private Practice has been renewed, Daisies and Dirty Sexy Money are still waiting to find out if they have been picked up. The thought of Daisies leaving the air is a sad thought to bare, so hopefully ABC is just a little slow on the renewal notice. However, stars like Kristen Chenoweth, who plays Olive Snook on the show, aren’t sure what to think.
Chenoweth spoke to the National Ledger recently about Daisies and the future of the show:
“It looks like we could possibly not be getting picked up. We have not gotten our order for the back nine [episodes] yet. We finish Nov. 12, and if we don’t get any more news, then that means we’re done,” she explains. “We just don’t know what’s going on. It’s the not knowing that is driving everybody crazy. We’re still doing our show and keeping positive, but I think deep down people just want to know.”
Fans and critics adore the show, but apparently the production costs may have ABC considering a business approach to this popular show. For now, there isn’t a lot that we can do other than hope that ABC makes the right move and keeps Daisies alive and well. Fans have started a petition that you might want to sign if you like the show. As of this writing, there were a few less than 24,000 signatures.

Tina Fey is a comedic genius. I can’t imagine what this show would be like if she wasn’t on it. Originally, Tina didn’t plan to be Liz Lemon, but NBC insisted. I can see why. She’s perfect for the part. They say, write what you know. Tina does just that when she writes every episode of 30 Rock. Some people may not know that she was inspired to write this based on her experiences as the first, female head writer of Saturday Night Live, a gig she only gave up because her schedule on SNL and her 30 Rock schedule overlap.
Let’s forget about what Tina Fey has done for SNL in the past month, with her Sarah Palin skits. Honestly, as a writer there, Fey made us see there was hope for a show that’d been on since before I was born. In the early years through the early 90s, SNL was all about laughs. Around the end of the 90s and into the 2000s, the show sort of fell apart. People were constantly saying, “oh this will be the end of SNL” and we believed it because it went through a period where it flat out sucked.
Tina was with the show during some of the dark years, but as head writer, she started bringing the stories back to the people. Those who’d given up on SNL started watching again and it’d be undeniably wrong to say Tina Fey had nothing to do with this. Tina has proven she can do just about anything she puts her mind to, so it isn’t farfetched to think she was a major force behind the show’s rejuvenation. Even today, she isn’t regularly working for SNL, but her Sarah Palin skits have seen the highest number of viewers for the show in years!
Tina Fey really has done it all. She was a Second City Troupe performer and writer at their famed Chicago location. She has written successfully in a variety of mediums, television (30 Rock, SNL), screenplays (Mean Girls) and she has worked as a performer/actress in movies, on television and in sketch comedy. She’s also a wife, mother, and overall likable person.
