The Resident has potential, but it never really lives up to the high level of creepy that I was hoping for. There are so many dull spots that the good stuff almost pales in comparison to the nothingness that fills the spots in between.

If you like the macabre, you may want to check out After.Life. While it has plenty of good moments, the film isn’t perfect and the sound on the Blu-Ray is enough to drive anyone crazy.
