Fall TV Preview: 5 New Shows Coming to CBS

CBS has five new shows coming out this fall. On the roster are three new comedies and two dramas. Of the list, I have to say the majority of the comedies either look outrageously horrible or they look like they won’t be funny enough to make it. One of the one-hours (I think it’s a dramedy) left me scratching my head, bewildered. Then there is the one drama that I cannot wait to see. While writing this I saw the commercial for Hostages come on television and I stopped to watch it. I have no doubt it will be a great show. CBS is lucky to have it.

We Are Men

Let me start by being nice. We found some funny parts here. We Are Men has a very testosterone based Melrose Place set in comedy kind of feel. There are jokes made and laughs to be had. Did we laugh? You betcha. Will we watch this? Probably not. It’s funny, but in all honesty we aren’t banking on this one sticking around. We can’t put our finger on why, but we don’t feel it has all the elements necessary to be a keeper. With that in mind, we’re leaving it behind before we become invested.

We Are Men will appear Mondays at 8:30 PM.

Check out the next show to air during Fall 2013 on CBS.
