Fans of the long running comedy series, Weeds, will be pleased to know that Showtime is offering a free preview of the first episode of the final season of the popular series. However, this deal comes with some strings. First, while the episode is free to watch, some may not think what you have to do to see it, is worth it. Honestly. I hate Matt LeBlanc, as an actor, far more than the majority of people on the planet. If I can get through it, so can you.

NOTE: I suggest you open it in Firefox. It does not seem to work in ANY other browser. I tried Safari and that certainly did not work, but I had no problem with Firefox.
Second, you will be forced to watch part of an episode of Matt LeBlanc’s new series, Episodes. It says you will have to watch the entire episode, but that isn’t true. Don’t skip ahead because the Weeds preview will unlock around the ten minutes mark of Episodes. You can click the pop up that shows on the screen to be taken to Weeds then, without finishing Episodes.
Some advice so you do not have to suffer through too much of this lame series, which really did suck:
-don’t try to scroll forward – I did and I ended up having to start over at the beginning
-mute your sound and come back to the video about nine minutes in – I opened up another window and entertained myself elsewhere
-make sure to use Firefox – a lot of people have said they watched the entire episode of Episodes with no Weeds episode popping up. Trust me. It works.
As for the preview, it was funny and reminiscent of what made me fall in love with the show initially. I can’t say much because I don’t want to give anything away but there is a flashback to one of the first seasons. Someone from the past, who is a total surprise, returns and things get ugly.
I am excited to see how the series comes full circle with this final season.
