College Must Have Reviews: Softlips PURE

Lip balm is one of those products that people in Northern states are always carrying throughout the winter months. I am the worst when it comes to that because I am a lip licker. My lips get chapped a lot and that means I run through a lot of chap stick. Of course, being picky about lip balms I am always on the lookout for the next best thing. I tend to look for something that tastes good and that keeps my lips soft.

That means that I prefer to avoid the stuff that tastes medicated. Unfortunately for me that means that I avoid a lot of the best options. Lately, I have been looking to organic or All-Natural options because they often work well, but avoid that nasty medication taste that I cannot stand. However, organic brands have a drawback where price is concerned as many of them are generally much higher than the standard brands.

After receiving a sample of Softlips PURE for review, I realized that it could be the answer to all of my lip woes. As far as price goes, Softlips PURE is probably one of the most reasonably priced organic lip balms on the market. From what I can tell it is about the same price as most of the regular brands, which comes in at about $3-$4 on average.

The flavors currently include Poemgranate and Honeydew. After trying both I think I am a little partial to Pomegranate though both were certainly worth using. I managed to use both tubes for quite a while and tended to use them interchangeably. If I had to buy another tube though I think I would reach for the Pomegranate first. Fruit lovers should enjoy both, as they taste remarkably like the chosen flavor and I am sure that future flavors will be the same way.

If you’re in need of some lip balm and you want your lips to feel soft and smooth without irritation then you should give Softlips a try. The fact that PURE is organic and priced similarly to the other brands makes it worth giving it a try.
