I don’t live in a dorm so when doing these reviews I took a lot of consideration to what it would have been like if I did live there. While Dom was in college in Ohio we did live in an on campus apartment though so I am fully versed in apartment and on campus living. Our apartment was not a bad size by any means, but the more space you can save, the better chance you have of keeping things neat and tidy. One of the things that can help you keep things squeaky clean is the Shoes Under.

If you’re like me (or most people for that matter) you have more than one pair of shoes. If you’re like me, it’s really more like 20 pairs of shoes. The Shoes Under works perfectly for me because you can store a pair of shoes in one of twelve compartments and then slide the entire thing under your bed so its out of the way. When you need a pair of shoes you can pull it out, grab the pair you need and put the Shoes Under back. No more having shoes in the way or losing your favorite pair when it’s not in the closet or spot you thought it would be in.

The Shoes Under also works for people that do not have twelve or more pairs of shoes. You could really store anything in these compartments. You could fit socks and underwear in them if you needed to, or other small items that you need, but want to keep out of the way. I stuck to shoes, but you could use it for just about anything.

When the folks that represent the Shoes Under decided to send us one for review I had my reservations. I normally don’t have a lot of luck with things sold on television, but this worked out well. As someone that’s constantly trying to make extra space this couldn’t be better for me. I just fill the twelve cubbyholes and don’t have to worry about those items taking up space anymore. Better yet, I don’t have to worry about finding a place for them and I always know where they are.

The product comes in a box and you just unzip it and store your items. Once everything is set you just put the Shoes Under away under your bed (or another out of the way place) until you need it. When you want to get something out you just unzip it and store it back when you are done. Having tried the hanging racks and other space savers, I have to say that I definitely prefer the Shoes Under as my favorite option.

Another great thing about the Shoes Under is the price. I don’t know what these run for in regular stores (I have seen them at a couple of places around town), but on their website you can pick up two of these for $10. So, applying some frugal logic, two friends could go in together spend $5 a piece and each get their own space saving shoe box. If you need something to keep things neat, clean, and out of the way, I highly suggest considering a Shoes Under.
