Literary Illusions is proud to be giving away three copies of Army Wives: The Complete First Season on DVD. To enter all you need to do is leave us a comment. Please be sure to only leave one. Description:
Army Wives: Season One has earned critical approval for its unflinching portrayal of the lives of four women and one man married to career members of the armed forces. On a South Carolina military base, far from family and old friends, the five turn to each other for emotional support, companionship and advice, as their loved ones tackle the dangerous business of defending the country. Bound together by pressures familiar to many military spouses, they build a bond that sustains them through sacrifice, loneliness and unforgiving conventions of Army life.

I’m a Navy brat, so I’d be interested in seeing how the TV series portrays military wives. I saw a behind-the-scenes special while I was at my mom’s house and saw that the series shoots in South Carolina, which is one of the places we lived when I was growing up, so I’d also like to see the show for that reason.
I think this is a show for women, but I watched a few episodes with my girlfriend, when it was on lifetime. I really enjoyed it. If I win, I will watch all the episodes with my girlfriend.
