Wristcutters: A Love Story Synopsis:
This quirky love story, a multiple Festival award winner and embraced by critics, arrives from Lionsgate on March 25, 2008. Acclaimed by critics, Wristcutters: A Love Story stars Patrick Fugit as Zia, a young man distraught over breaking up with his girlfriend, who decides to end it all. Unfortunately, he discovers that there is no real ending, only a run-down afterlife that is strikingly similar to his old one, just a bit worse. Finding out that his ex-girlfriend has also “offed” herself, he sets out on a road trip, with his Russian rocker friend, to find her. Their journey takes them through an absurd purgatory where they learn that being dead doesn’t mean you have to stop living.

I would enjoy watching this movie
Slightly twisted, a bit dark and depressing but with an implication of something upbeat SOMEwhere soon to come… Slide one my way, plz/tx!
(makes me think of “Dead Like Me” for some reason)…
This movie looks good!
STILL trying to figure out the rules on this one — you don’t email me, you just post winners here and if I don’t see it I forfeit? Hmm. Well, I guess (cough, neck-crack, wiggle, hoarse rasp) Ah’ll be bach…
(“twisted, meet warped”)
It is a cute premise for a movie!

Looks good.
I’ve heard this is great. Sounds Great!
I love to have this film in my collection. I’am a devotee of dark, quirky movie, and indie cinema. It’s a shame that films in the independent genre don’t do as well as half of these ill-conceived blockbusters you see in theaters these days.
I just hate that really important movies don’t get the attention that they deserve. I hope this film gets a bigger fanbase on DVD, then it did in theaters.
Even though I’m not going to win, thanks for giving people like me a chance.

I caught this one in a small arthouse theater in my city earlier this year — it’s such an original and inventive movie with a great return to form for Patrick Fugit. Thanks for the contest!
