Culver City, CA (4/7/08) — Meg Ryan, star of such comedy classics as When Harry Met Sally and Sleepless in Seattle, returns to the genre that made her a star in Sony Pictures Home Entertainment’s hilarious new comedy caper My Mom’s New Boyfriend, arriving on DVD June 17th, 2008.

Ryan is joined by sexy heartthrob Antonio Banderas (Mask of Zorro, Once Upon A Time In Mexico) in the story of a divorced woman who finally meets the man of her dreams, only to discover he’s a notorious art thief under investigation by her very own F.B.I. agent son, played by Colin Hanks (King Kong, Orange County). What follows is a hilarious mix of intrigue, action and, of course, comedy. The My Mom’s New Boyfriend DVD will be available to own for the SRP of $24.96. Bonus features include deleted scenes and “The Third Degree: The Making of My Mom’s New Boyfriend” featurette.

Synopsis
F.B.I. Field Agency Henry Durand (Hanks) has a problem. It seems his mother Marty (Ryan) has developed a dating life of her own in the three years he’s been on assignment. Now, Henry finds himself fending off midnight serenades from lovelorn Italian chefs and watching helplessly as Mary hops on the back of a college dropout’s motorcycle, all of which is enough to drive him into therapy. But things get more serious when Marty begins dating Tommy (Banderas), the F.B.I.’s number one suspect in an international art theft ring. Now, Henry is forced to spy on his own mother to foil a sophisticated crime. For Henry, it’s Mission Unthinkable.

Written and Directed by George Gallo (The Whole Ten Yards, Code Name: The Cleaner), My Mom’s New Boyfriend also stars Selma Blair (The Sweetest Thing, Cruel Intentions). The film was produced by Millennium Films and has a running time of 97 minutes. It is rated PG-13 for sexual content, language, some violence and drug material.
