Vianne, a woman who has seen her share of pain, moves in with her 68 year-old grandmother, Madea, in order to escape her verbally abusive husband. When Maylee casually announces that she is getting married to Vianne’s ex-husband, an explosive argument occurs, and Vianne realizes she has to give up on her ex even though he still holds a place in her heart.
