One of the best television shows on Showtime, Dexter, made waves due to its controversial nature. Based on the Dexter book series by Jeff Lindsay, Dexter follows the life of a man (Dexter Morgan) who works as a blood spatter expert for the Miami PD. He also happens to be a serial killer in his spare time.
