Good article. I agree. I like JAG the best though I think Amy would be good as the winner, too.

Rory - Bad move talking back to Alton Brown. I actually cringed for you when you said he should be quiet. Talk about no respect. I hope you don't win because if you will, I will have lost my respect for Food Network.

Rory,

Thank you for pointing out all of your facts. I can see where you would be upset by my commentary. I am aware of the fact that reality television is hardly reality. However, I am judging the television show and what is shown on that show, as I cannot know what happened behind the scenes. The only people that know that are those that are there. So, all I see is the end product, just like most people. So, my comments are on the end product.

My comment on your food knowledge comes from your snarky performance during the Iron Chef competition. Granted you said that you could not compete with Brown on his knowledge (can anyone?), so your plan was to give quick comebacks. It came off as being disrespectful and you didn't seem to have the knowledge while playing announcer that the other "stars" seemed to have.

Essentially all of the 11 finalists had something to offer or none of you would have been on the show at all. I am a huge fan of Food TV and have great respect for all they do.

Additionally, I didn't mean to offend you or any of the others that might read this. In fact, I wish you luck. I don't know who won or will win as I haven't seen the final show. Chances are, I'd be more than willing to watch you if you did win.

My point of view is that of the three, I liked what I saw of you, the least. It's my opinion and if you're any kind of star you will have people that don't like you. That's show business.

Well It's obvious you are a good writer, but here is a question do you know anything about tv oreality TV for that matter? I must stand up for my self and the other two finalist in any regards to you judging what you watch off a EDITED TV SHOW. You have know Idea about what really was happening or how things really play out. You are given a story that is produced by Story Producers to create drama and a interesting show with things to talk about at the water cooler. Days are shot out of Sequence, messes and screw ups are constrewed by producers. Sound bites are added for effect. Not only is Reality TV not Reality in fact there are scrips alot of the time. As for my food knowledge how can you tell what my food knowledge is after seeing me answer one question wrong? I would expect a writer to be a littlemore savy to actually beleive everything she hears and see with out fact! Hre are some Facts I Graduated from the CIA at 18 opened my first Restaurant at 21.Helped open a night club in LA at 25. Just sold my First Restaurant after almost 9 years of being one of the most popular places in Bergen county NJ and I'm just about to open BootHill Saloon & grill in Vega texas as we speak. Those are facts! Oh heres one more The food network would not keep someone around to the final three who does not have some sort of Food Savy and skill!
