The Weinstein Company and Genius Products are pleased to announce the release of the Unrated Director’s Cut Version of Factory Girl, starring Sienna Miller and Guy Pearce. The film will be released and available on DVD on July 17, 2007.
Factory Girl stars Miller as the charismatic Edie Sedgwick, known best as the muse of eccentric artist Andy Warhol. This diva of the 1960s, Sedgwick went on to be an “it” girl of the decade. The movie follows her rise to fame and her fall from grace. You will get the chance to travel to the heart of it all, Warhol’s (portrayed by Guy Pearce) infamous New York studio after following Sedgwick’s trek from an art student to a fashionista of the time.
Factory Girl: The Unrated Director’s Cut offers 15 additional minutes of film, which was not shown during the movie’s initial release in movie theaters. The DVD also includes the following special features:
