I can already see the hate mail I am going to get for this. “These girls have no guidance. You cannot blame them!” or “Paris & Lindsay are twits, but don’t bash Britney. She’s had like a hard life. Ok?” However, I can blame them for being lame, anorexic looking, drug addicted, spoiled, selfish little brats.

The reason why, is because not only are they over the age of consent (which means they consented to their own stupidity), they should know how to handle the press for as long as all three of them have been in the spotlight.

Let’s start with Britney. Britney Jean Spears was born December 2, 1981 in McComb, Mississippi. This makes Brit Brit 25 years old. She’s not even a year younger than I am (my birthday, for reference, is 12-26-80). Yet, you have never seen me gallivanting out with my friends, with the family jewels exposed. I don’t make sarcastic little statements when my friends (aka the Paparazzi) tell lies about me. I don’t drop my children or act careless when riding with them in the car.

Britney is special. She loves her boo boos. She’s been caught lip synching, doing drugs/alcohol, and making a fool of herself in public. Let’s not even mention the shaved head thing. Britney is supposed to be a mother, and a role model for young girls. I wouldn’t let my daughter near a Britney Spears CD if I thought she would start to act like Britney. The truly sad thing is I feel bad for her two little boys who aren’t getting the guidance from Mommy that Mommy so desperately needs herself.

Next up is Paris. Paris Whitney Hilton (sounds so pretentious doesn’t it?) was born February 17, 1981 in New York City, NY. What happened to old money? That is all I can say. There used to be a standard for how socialites and high society women acted. Apparently Paris did not get the memo. Her behavior, by far, disgusts me the most of all three of these young women. Paris is supposed to be high society, and she personifies the ugly side of having a lot of money.

The biggest problem I have with Paris is her lack of responsibility for her actions. She parties, stumbles around drunk, has received multiple DUIs, makes sex tapes, has broken other laws, and she does not really seem to give a flying f-ck whether there are consequences or not. Quite often, it appears Ms. Hilton believes that she is above the law and her money can get her out of anything and everything she has done that is illegal. Nobody should be above the law, no matter how rich they are, but that does not seem to faze Paris.

Finally, we have Lindsay Dee Lohan (I’m not even going there) born on July 2, 1986 in the Bronx. Lindsay is younger than our other two “diva wannabes” yet she could be their triplet. First there was partying. Then there was her anorexia scare. Then she got berated by Jane Fonda for her terrible behavior on the set of Georgia Rule. Then there was more partying, drinking (underage of course), a stint in rehab, and finally the latest Lindsay debacle…a DUI. Didn’t she learn from Paris what happens when someone drinks and drives?

First…you end up in Promises, which cured Britney so why shouldn’t it cure Lindsay? Then…you get another DUI and end up in court. Of course, by this point it is your publicist’s fault. They told you that you could drive, even though you signed a paper the police gave you (without reading it mind you) that says you know you aren’t supposed to be driving (especially intoxicated).

Then, you can plead tearfully with an unsympathetic judge, as your mom makes snide little comments in the background, get sentenced to 45 days in jail, have your “fans” appeal to the governor to overturn your sentence, and end up having it cut in half.

Who do I blame in all of this? I would have to say there are multiple sources to blame for this unraveling of three semi-young, super famous women. First, I have to blame the media. They do sensationalize everything and these three very needy, wanting girls reach out to their stage. They want sympathy. They want compassion, and they perform for the Paparazzi. By giving the press what they want, they feed the need for more media attention creating a vicious cycle that while repetitive, is also incredibly self-destructive.

Secondly, I blame the parents of all three girls, in particular, their mothers. Lindsay’s dad is in jail, but her mom, Dina, has been by her side. Dina does not even truly acknowledge Lindsay’s problems. She pacifies her daughter and often accompanies her on such dangerous and destructive excursions. Dina is rooting her daughter on, and it isn’t in the positive way. It is one thing to be your child’s friend…It is another to be their “girlfriend”. Perhaps Dina should put on her big girl mommy face for once and start being the role model/authority figure she needs to be.

Kathy Hilton’s display at Paris’ hearing was disgusting. It is no wonder Paris is a smart mouth little b-tch. She’s a chip off the old block. While dad, Rick, sat silently through the proceedings mom was shouting out comments to the judge and the press, all while making herself look like an ass. Both Hiltons need to make sure Paris is held accountable for her actions. Otherwise, this self-destructive behavior will continue.

What is even more disturbing is Rick Hilton’s reaction to the whole debacle, which seems to be ignoring Paris’ bad behavior so it might go away. As a Hilton, all he has is his name and his money. You would think Conrad Hilton would have instilled more values into his grandson. This behavior, especially by such a “supposed” high-class lady would have been unacceptable in his time, and Paris would have probably either been locked up until she learned to behave, or paddled a few times to ‘temper down’ her bad behavior.

Paris does not come off as someone who is rich. She is rude, crude, and vile. If she didn’t have her Gucci purse some might confuse her with every day “white trash”. If I were Rick Hilton, I’d be absolutely appalled. Trust me, my daughter would not have gotten away with any of the crap Paris is seen doing on a regular basis. Sure…it is just having fun right? Yeah, but when little girls everywhere look up to you (Lord knows why), you must set a precedent for your behavior.

Finally, I blame Paris, Lindsay, and Britney. These three women are old enough to know better. Sure, it is okay to have a little fun and to go a little crazy, but this behavior and inappropriateness keeps happening over and over and over again. It’s tiring to read Paris has a DUI. Britney shaved her head again. Lindsay was knockdown drunk despite only being 20. It’s old, tired, and the vast majority of America (and the world) is sick of it.

My only word of encouragement for these three is to grow up. We all have to, and now it is their turn. Otherwise, not only will these three be hurting themselves (and their children in Britney’s case)…they will continue to hurt society as the image of young women changes to hateful, hurtful party girls, who break the law, and make excuses.
