Whether writing, performing stand-up or headlining his own HBO comedy series, Louis C.K. has never been shy about speaking his mind. Now, the Emmy(r) winner stars in his first one-hour special on the network when LOUIS C.K.: SHAMELESS debuts SATURDAY, JAN. 13 (10:00-11:00 p.m. ET/PT), exclusively on HBO.

Fresh off his work on the adult HBO sitcom "Lucky Louie," the brash comedian returns to his stand-up roots for an all-new show taped before a live audience at the Henry Fonda Theater in Los Angeles. LOUIS C.K.: SHAMELESS covers everyday subjects near and dear to his heart, tackling issues that others have been too ashamed to address.

Louis C.K. created and starred in the 2006 series "Lucky Louie," HBO’s first multi-camera comedy series. His two previous half-hour stand-up specials on HBO include a 1997 edition of "HBO Comedy Half-Hour," and 2005′s "One Night Stand: Louis C.K." In addition to winning an Emmy(r) as part of the writing team for HBO’s "The Chris Rock Show," Louis C.K. has written for "The Late Show with David Letterman" and "Late Night with Conan O’Brien"; he also wrote and directed the feature film "Pootie Tang."
